During the plenary session of the Hungarian Science Festival, following a lecture by Nobel Prize laureate Katalin Karikó, the Dél-Alföld Innovation Prize was awarded. This prestigious recognition, presented by the Szeged Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, honors companies that have created innovative solutions through their own developments. Among the awardees, CreatIT Solutions Ltd. received a certificate of merit.

We earned this recognition with our product, Walk & Quiz, an interactive quiz platform that stands out for its versatility. It promotes experiential learning by combining movement and education while encouraging users to explore the real world through a digital interface.

“Our company has been specializing in custom software development for over 15 years. However, in 2023, we ventured into uncharted territory: product development. Observing market demand, we noticed a growing need for simple, fast, ‘out-of-the-box’ solutions. Walk & Quiz caters to a broad audience, enhancing the quality of various events, positively impacting education, and inspiring movement and exploration of the world around us,” shared Mária Ződi-Sipos, CEO, about the product’s inception.

The core concept of the game is that players walk around a specific location, answering quiz questions, testing their knowledge, and learning about a given topic. Among our clients are cities that use the product for tourism purposes. For example, at this year’s Chess Olympiad, participants expanded their knowledge of chess through Walk & Quiz. Event organizers also frequently choose this platform. Currently, those interested can try the game in the “City Wine Adventure” in Szeged or at the Csillagösvény Adventure Park in Ópusztaszer.

Who Is It For?

  • Cities: To enhance tourism with digital tools and attract visitors to popular attractions or lesser-known hiking trails.
  • Zoos and Botanical Gardens: To guide visitors throughout their premises and highlight interesting features along the way.
  • Museums: To offer interactive ways of sharing knowledge.
  • Corporations: To innovate training sessions and engage employees interactively.
  • Hotels: To provide children with exciting exploration activities while parents relax.
  • Shopping Centers: To elevate the quality of thematic events, such as an Easter egg hunt paired with quiz questions.

“We believed in this product from the start, but having the Szeged Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences recognize it as outstanding is a tremendous honor. This positive feedback fuels our motivation to further develop Walk & Quiz. It’s even possible that we’ll create additional products in the near future,” said Mária Ződi-Sipos, CEO of CreatIT Solutions Ltd.
